Company History
E Sorensen Construction is owned by a professional with more than 35 years of experience in the carpentry industry. The proprietor himself comes from a family with 3 generations of carpenters, from grandfather, and father, to child. This is how he describes his family’s craft and legacy:
“I was born and raised in the carpentry and construction industry. From my great grandfather to my father to me, the business has been passed on to each generation through experience and hard work, and the rest is history.”

“I was born and raised in Staten Island, New York when my parents immigrated from Denmark. Growing up, I helped my grandfather at home when he was building furniture to sell and installing roofs, which became a family business and which I have been working on ever since I can remember.
In 1986, I joined the New York District Council of Carpenters, of which I remain a member up to this day. I worked there as a shop steward and foreman the entire time (from 1988 to 2008). I then moved to Pennsylvania State where I was self-employed and recently moved to the Sunshine State.
I am obsessed with perfection, quality, and professionalism. Plumbing and total residential work and renovation are part of our business as well. We are a family enterprise, which includes women and minorities who care for other families' needs.”
